Community Councillors enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the official opening of Caban y Cwm at Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Gorslas.
Caban y Cwm forms part of the Big Bocs Bwyd initiative, which provides affordable surplus food while helping children and the wider community learn about food literacy, sustainability, and wellbeing. The initiative operates on a “Pay as you feel” basis, offering families and local residents’ access to surplus food donated by supermarkets, local shops, and allotment groups.
The Council extends its best wishes to the school, and everyone involved in the project as they continue this valuable work supporting both education and the community.
